Paracelsus Medical University (PMU)

Quality assurance

Our corporate strategy and corresponding implementation plans are developed according to our mission statement ( (Vision/Mission/Values/Objectives). Within this framework, the goal of quality development is to ensure a high standard in all of the university's areas of responsibility that are measurable by international criteria.

Quality management system

The quality management system at Paracelsus University is a self-learning system focused on continuous improvement in teaching, research, leadership, services, and partnerships. This is achieved through ongoing quality assurance measures, with all employees actively contributing to the process. We see the university as an organization of experts, where changes and growth rely on the intrinsic motivation of those involved in key processes. Our aim is to create the right conditions for this development by providing useful tools such as performance measurements, descriptions, and rankings.

Each organizational unit, together with its leadership, is responsible for ensuring and advancing quality. Central regulations and guidelines, such as reporting systems and research documentation, are established and made accessible. The quality management department provides guidance and support, helping each unit design quality management tools and incorporate them into the various steps of the PDCA cycle.
