Inquiries regarding event services for external congress, support for scientific events, advice and internal room and resource coordination.

The Paracelsus Medical University considers one of its important tasks to be the promotion of scientific exchange. Our focus is on the development and establishment of the university's scientific position as well as that of the university clinics.

In this regard, it is important for us to support local and regional organizers of conferences, symposia, meetings, or congresses. Since 2007, the Event and Congress Management at PMU has been working as a service facility for the university's own institutes, the university hospital's clinics, as well as for interested parties and partners, both domestic and international, who wish to host their health-related events at or in collaboration with the PMU.

As such, we are happy to make our facilities available outside of teaching for the purposes of continuing education, symposia, congresses, conferences, summer schools, meetings, and other events primarily in the field of medicine.

Our activities

  • Advice and support for internal and external organizers in the design/planning, organization, implementation, and follow-up of scientific events (primarily in the health sector).
  • Initial contact and room tours
  • Point of contact for exhibitor inquiries (e.g., additional equipment needs, package delivery, and catering questions)
  • Preparation of quotations, planning/booking of room requirements, and invoicing
  • Maintenance of event calendar (pre-announcements)
  • Internal room and resource coordination
  • Internal coordination: media-IT, facility management, information desk, cleaning, onsite support, etc.
  • Point of contact for external + contacts: caterers, PCO/organizers, exhibitors, hotels, musicians, plant rentals, etc.
  • Point of contact for internal room conflicts
