Research
Our aim is to sustainably improve the treatment of patients with musculoskeletal disorders. Musculoskeletal diseases, whether caused by accidents or age-related wear and tear, lead to considerable restrictions in mobility and drastically impair quality of life. This is where our research activities come in: We strive to maintain or restore mobility after acute injuries or degenerative diseases.
Our research activities are based on the following pillars:

- Clinical studies
- Teaching
Our strengths lie in our interdisciplinary team of physicists, engineers, sports scientists, and physicians, who bring a diverse and complementary array of methods and expertise to our research. We place great importance on our close contact with the Berufsgenossenschaftliche Unfallklinik Murnau and the resulting link to clinical practice.
To ensure a high standard of quality in our research, we have implemented a quality management system since 2009 that is certified in accordance with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
