History
Organization
The Paracelsus Medical Private University Salzburg is operated by the non-profit "Paracelsus Medical Private University Salzburg – Private Foundation." The legal form of a private foundation was chosen to emphasize the long-term commitment of the university to its non-profit activities and mission. The Foundation Board ensures the promotion and implementation of all necessary and/or appropriate measures for the operation and maintenance of the university.
The Foundation Board consists of twelve elected or appointed members, each serving a term of five years. Every three years, the Board elects a three-member Executive Committee, which reports directly to the Board.
