The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program at the Institute for Nursing Science and Practice is a doctoral program aimed at promoting the next generation of researchers in Nursing & Allied Health Sciences.

„Well-structured & flexible“

The program prepares doctoral students for the complex challenges of a career in science or other professional positions outside of academia and research, while also supporting their early scientific independence.

An interdisciplinary focus—i.e., a Ph.D. program in Nursing & Allied Health Sciences—is intended and encouraged within the German-speaking region, especially as research topics related to the experience of health and illness are addressed not only in nursing science but also in related health sciences (public health, midwifery, medicine, physical and occupational therapy, etc.).
