With Pharmacy Early Bird, you can reserve one of our coveted 50 study places even before the application deadline in July. Additionally, you have the opportunity to apply early for the PMU Scholarship and a place in the PMU Student Residence.

Admission Requirements for the Master's Program

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Paracelsus Medical University (PMU)
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a public Austrian university
Other completed studies of at least 3 years from recognized post-secondary institutions in Austria or abroad (e.g., in Germany: 1st State Examination + 1 year of successful pharmacy studies), provided these studies include at least the following subjects to the required extent:

Pharmaceutical Technology	5 ECTS points
Medical Foundations	20 ECTS points
Physics	1 ECTS point
Biology	10 ECTS points

In exceptional cases, if the required number of credits in certain subjects is not met, admission may still be granted by the program director. This is contingent upon the student being able to make up the missing subjects during the first year of study by attending the relevant courses from the Bachelor's program in Pharmacy at PMU.

Language Admission Requirements

Proficiency in German (C1 level) and English (B2 level) is required. If your language proficiency at the specified levels is not evident from the submitted application documents, the program director may request additional proof on a case-by-case basis. The additional Latin examination must be completed by the end of the first year of study, unless at least 10 weekly hours of Latin were successfully completed at a secondary school.

Preliminary application for the Master's program

If your Bachelor’s degree certificate is not available at the time of application, you may apply with an academic transcript. The Bachelor’s degree certificate must be submitted no later than six months after the start of the program.
