The Early Life Care Research Institute of the Paracelsus Medical University Salzburg (PMU) and St. Virgil Salzburg cordially invite you to the 4th Early Life Care Conference, taking place from May 23 to 25, 2025. Under the theme "Resources," we will bring together professionals from practice and academia—including experts in obstetrics, pediatrics, psychology, therapy, and social work—to explore and promote needs-based support for an optimal start to life.
Held every two years, the Early Life Care Conference offers a unique platform for interprofessional exchange of knowledge and experience on topics related to the beginning of life. The conference not only addresses the challenges of working with children and families but also presents and discusses practical and structural solutions. The key topics of the 4th Early Life Care Conference include:
- Addressing Resource Shortages in Families: How can professionals support socially disadvantaged families in overcoming resource shortages and strengthening their resilience?
- Interprofessional Collaboration as a Resource: How can professionals collaborate effectively to maximize resource utilization?
- Preserving Resources: How can mindful management of personal resources help professionals maintain their role as valuable resources for families over the long term?
- Life Environment as a Resource: How can professionals recognize and respond to the challenges of climate change impacting the lives of young families?
- Professional Attitude as a Resource: What role does a professional attitude play in working with children and families, and how can it become a resource for professionals?
The conference features inspiring keynotes, scientific symposia, and "success stories," with workshops offering in-depth discussions on these topics. Participants will benefit from new insights and ample opportunities for interprofessional exchange and networking. Additionally, our program provides opportunities to recharge personal resources.
This conference is a valuable resource for anyone professionally involved in early life care. Together, we strengthen and expand the foundations for a healthy start in life.
